Sterling Transportation Services works with several companies throughout Nebraska and Iowa, from smaller truck carriers with 3-4 trucks to larger carries with more than 100 trucks.

Your assigned Account Manager will come to your office or place of business to discuss the position in detail. With your approval, we like to see the workplace and learn more about your needs, the culture, safety programs, growth plans, etc. We take the time to get to know you.

The initial client meeting is important to determine if both parties share the same values and can partner together. We are not the “one and done.” We are seeking long term relationships. Your Account Manager will cover pricing and what you can expect for deliverables from our team.

Your assigned Recruiter will then reach out for a quick introduction to make sure they have a good understanding of the job and type of candidate that you are looking for.

You will be kept in the loop every step of the way.

Our Recruiters have over 20 years of experience in your vertical. They have built a pipeline and have great relationships with several great candidates. Often, the best candidates are currently working, and not actively applying to job boards in fear that their current employer would know. We have built trust in our markets and confidentiality is an important factor in that trust.

Often our team is conducting interviews in the evening and weekends to meet the candidate needs. A resume can only go so far. It’s the countless calls and conversations that determine the right fit.  We understand the market and the burden that recruiting can put on the department managers, dispatchers, or whoever is piling through resumes. We have clients that want nothing to do with that part of that process.
